MEET THE PRODUCT
Our Tie-in Tail Bags are handmade in our saddlery located in East Maitland of the Hunter Valley, NSW Australia from swimwear fabric that is chlorine and sun resistant giving the fabric added longevity in the paddock. The Tie-in design allows you to remove your horses rug to ride or groom without needing remove the tail bag and also avoids the rump rub that can sometimes occur when using traditional tail bags that attach to the inside of the rug.
We do suggest you remove the bag every couple of days and give the tail a spray with Hairy Pony Detangler before brushing out and adding a leave in treatment such as the Hairy Pony Silky Serum every few weeks

Shipping; We offer FREE standard Auspost shipping on orders over $150.00 however if you need your order in a hurry you can choose to upgrade to express, the cost will be calculated at checkout for you.
We ship with Australia Post from Duns Creek in rural NSW. We do our absolute best to get your purchase to our local post office as quickly as we can - this is usually the same or next day but we give a 1-5 business day window to be safe. If we are going to be away with the trade stand at a horse show there will be a shipping delay notification on our home page & a pop-up alert to let you know the details.

Change of Mind Returns; Life is busy! and we know many of our customers live in rural areas so we offer 60 days for change of mind returns. As long as your item is in its original condition, unworn/used with the original packaging/tags & proof of purchase we will happily refund or exchange your item for you. You can do this at our pop-up or by sending your product back to us in the post. For change of mind returns we do ask that you pay for the shipping costs
Wrong Item/Damaged Item Returns - please inspect your items upon receiving them and contact us within 3 days if you have received the wrong item or it has been damaged in transit so we can make it right!

We will ask for photos of the damaged/missing items and once confirmed to return, send you a prepaid return label to get the items back to us so we can investigate the issue further and prevent it from occurring again

Who are we?
Founded in 2019 we are a family run boutique saddlery based in rural NSW Australia specialising in gear for kids and their ponies. After scouring the internet looking for Jodphrus for our own daughter and then being unable to source nice saddle pads small enough for her pony we discovered we weren't alone in our frustration and so Penelope Claire Ponywear was born. Our aim is to provide a hub where parents of equestrian kids can find everything their child may need on their riding journey from clothing to saddlery.
