The Chocolate Lab Series of 3 stories

Author: Eric Luper

Paperback Editions

Recommended Reading Age: 6 - 10 years

Book 1: The Chocolate Lab

Cocoa is cooking up trouble! Take one family's chocolate shop, add a dash of competition with the fancy new store on the block, stir in a candy-crazy Labrador named Cocoa. . . and you've got a recipe for disaster!

If Mason and Hannah can win first prize at the annual Chocolate Expo, they may be able to save their parents' shop. But Cocoa can't control himself in the kitchen. And one more mess means they'll have to say good-bye to their pup for good!

For ages 6 to 10.

Book 2: Tug of War

When Mason and Hannah find a tiny yellow Labrador named Nilla out by the old mill, Hannah is dying to keep her. But Mason isn't sure that's a good idea. Not when they are busy trying to turn the mill into a chocolate factory to save the family's business. Plus the Cabots already have a dog, and Cocoa's wild ways are always stirring up trouble. Adding an untrained, rowdy puppy to the mix might just be a recipe for disaster!

For ages 7 to 10.

Book 3: Top Dog

Mason and Hannah Cabot have their hands full with Labrador pups Cocoa, Nilla, and Licorice. Keeping chocolate away from candy-crazy Cocoa is practically a full-time job! But when a rival candy company tries to put the Cabots' chocolate shop out of business, Mason knows he's got another job to do. He isn't about to let some big corporation steal their recipes, take their customers, or mess with their puppies. This means war!

For ages 7 to 10.

Customer Review

"highly recommended. This woman is amazing she made my daughters saddle pad and it's to perfection we could not be happier thank you so much"

Who are we?

Founded in 2019 we are a family run boutique saddlery based in rural NSW Australia specialising in gear for kids and their ponies. After scouring the internet looking for Jodphrus for our own daughter and then being unable to source nice saddle pads small enough for her pony we discovered we weren't alone in our frustration and so Penelope Claire Ponywear was born. Our aim is to provide a hub where parents of equestrian kids can find everything their child may need on their riding journey from clothing to saddlery.
